Amalfi Apartment Basile Sept 09 USA Older Couple Victoria W. We selected Apartment Basile soley based on a good feeling since there were no references available at the time. Italy Accom was able to answer our questions so we moved forward. We had this apartment in beautiful Positano for 2 weeks and could not be happier with our choice if we tried. A bonus was to have Lucia, the owner, nearby to assist with any needs, although we needed nothing but a smile every day as we purchased fresh fruits, vegetables, wines and more from her small shop up at street level. The accomodations were clean, roomy and the balcony very, very large. We sat out there in the morning with our breakfast and in the evenings staring out over the lights of Positano. We felt safe, comfortable and welcomed. The location is perfect for walking down to the beach to either catch a ferry or on most days to sit on the beach and swim in the clear sea. We strongly suggest this apartment to any couple wanting to live like locals. No hotel could give you the freedom to walk to resturants or to cook in, which we did often. It had every modern convenience, was comfortably furnished and in terrific condition - and the owners gave us restaurant and travel tips as well as plums from their garden. It was a pleasure to come "home" each evening; we found a small market nearby and perfected panini cooking and even pollo al limone in the immaculate kitchen. The adults in our family found the climb up from the piazza in the center of town to be taxing at first, but the teenagers were fine and we got quite fit by the end of our stay! We also appreciated the maps and travel tips left on the kitchen table.

Amalfi Apartment Costagliola April-09 Australia Family Group Ryan C. Our family of 5 loved our Italian villa. It is very centrally located and only 150 metres from the bus stop and shops. Just a 15 minutes bus ride to Positano or Amalfi. The best advice I can give is do not drive on the Amalfi Coast. We dropped our hire car at Sorrento and were conveyed to the apartment by one of the local transfer companies. We then got to wherever we wanted by the Positano or Sita buses and ferries. We have wonderful memories of our 4 days on the Amalfi Coast.. Domenico's wife met us at the apartment and was wonderful even though Benvenuto Limos took us via the scenic route and we kept her waiting. The owners were also wonderful putting up extra clothes lines when they saw we had lots of washing.

We got back to Canada on Tuesday 7th, after a great holiday.This was my 3rd trip to Italy and although too short was wonderful and without problems. Studio Vittoria was great, small but comfortable and a great location by Spanish Steps. The Rome metro and Bus system was also excellent.. no problems, no hassels and we felt really safe. We walked the streets of old Rome for 6 days and enjoyed every bit of it. We travel on our own, I could stand to be with a tour group being lead around by by a leader holding a flag..blocking the way of other people as the group stops to listen? to the tour guide, and then forget what was said in about 5mins. I rented a car and drove to Praiano, a few km from Positano. Studio Stanizone was amazing, the best terrace and views that you could hope for, and no crowds or tour groups. Thank you for your accomodations, and organization ( Mauritzio? in Rome and Domenico in Praiano were excellent). I will reccomend your company to my friends and we intend to return to Amalfi Coast Aparment Stanzione for a longer stay in the future.

Apartment Liberta (in Rome) was lovely and near the metro, so we were in easy reach of all the best places to see in Rome. We were very happy with both apartments and would reccomment using Italy Accomm to book accommodation in Italy again.
Amalfi Apartment Bernini Jun-08 Estonia Mixed Group Annika R. In generally nice apartment. The most we liked large terrace with sea view. Only in these area be ready for stairs. Even to the beach (La Praia) you have to take over 400 steps.
Amalfi Il Casale Terrace Aug-07 Australia Diane T. The villa was spacious and whilst not very close to the heart of Positano it gave a spectacular outlook onto Positano and the beach from the verandah. The villa was close to bus stops for travel to Sorrento and Amalfi as well as the local bus that frequently ran through Positano. This compensated for the 25 minute walk, including some 400-500 steps to the beach, although walking through the privately owned villas and local shops and cafes is wonderful.
